The raw material stock to be used for the production will be purchased in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, from the slaughterhouses of the neighbourhood, in large quantities and at low logistics cost, therefore the price margin hereby obtained can be validated on the sales markets as well. It is envisaged that two separate production lines will be established in the plant and the products produced there will be used for producing pet food, fish feed and premium quality cosmetics industry products.

Várda Meat, founded in 2013, is engaged in the production and sales of ready-to-cook convenience foods that are exported to the UK in 100%. In addition, their activities also extend to the sorting and equalisation of further processed poultry meat stock.

Food industry is a traditional flagship industry of the Hungarian national economy, which is well demonstrated by the projects managed by the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA): food industry has been ranked among the top three industry branches attracting the most working capital investment for several years. In 2018, the Hungarian food industry produced a production value of HUF 3,235 billion after an increase of seven percent. One tenth of total manufacturing output came from this sector. The sector employs 151,000 people, with poultry meat exports reaching 220,000 tonnes last year, which is 30,000 tonnes more than in 2017.
