The German Güntner is launching a development worth EUR 25 million in its Hungarian unit. In the company's already largest production unit output capacity will be increased by procuring new equipment, and a logistics hub serving whole Europe will also be built. To re-confirm its commitment to Hungary, in the framework of the announcement, the company has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Hungarian Government.

The Güntner Group, which is a fundamental member of the heating and air-conditioning technology industry, is supporting its partners with an experience of over eight decades. Employing more than 3,600 employees in 2017 it realized a turnover of HUF 107.61 billion, supported by 54 locations and 9 production plants.

Güntner-Tata was founded in 1990 as a result of the cooperation between the German Hans Güntner GmbH and Tata Hűtőtechnika Ipari Szövetkezet (industrial refrigeration cooperative). The cooperation has proven to be successful in the long run, since the Hungarian unit has become the largest production plant of the Güntner Group, manufacturing the entire product family of the company. Over the last almost three decades the facility's production area increased from almost 2,000 squaremetres to some 40,000 squaremetres and the headcount of employees rose from 40 people to about 1,350.

In the halls equipped with state-of-the-art technology, industrial evaporators, air coolers, condensers, as well as special, customized solutions for the international and local customers are manufactured. In addition to production tasks, the engineers in Tata are developing new production technologies for the entire company group, the development unit takes an active part in the development process of new product lines, moreover, also in training the associates of the new units worldwide, selecting the right production equipment, as well as in establishing the best production processes.

Under the project being launched now, production capacity will be increased further, a production hall of some 9,000 squaremetres will be constructed and by procuring modern machinery more efficient assembly lines will be installed. Additionally, during the realization of the project a modern logistics hub serving whole Europe is to be built on an area of 40,000 squaremetres with a storage area of pavement surface, a warehouse hall of 6,500 squaremetres and also with service buildings.
