The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA), the Association of Hungarian Foundries (MÖSZ) and six Hungarian suppliers are to be introduced at the most significant trade fair for casting products in Düsseldorf.

"The Bright World of Metals", which is held every four years, encompasses four exhibitions in casting, metallurgy and heating technology. GIFA focuses on foundry equipment, die-casting machines and melting operations, while METEC covers iron making, steel making and non-ferrous metal production, and promotes steel casting equipment. THERMPROCESS showcases industrial furnaces, industrial heat treatment plants and thermal processes, while NEWCAST provides an insight into the world of precision castings. The last event in 2015 welcomed almost 80,000 visitors and over 2,200 exhibitors, to learn about the latest industrial trends and technologies and to meet future suppliers.

The fifth NEWCAST exhibition will be held between 25 and 29 June 2019. The trade fair will be accompanied by a NEWCAST Forum, where interested parties can get a comprehensive picture about the most recent casting innovations. The event will also host the NEWCAST Award ceremony, which acknowledges outstanding achievements in a number of categories.

It is the first time that the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) takes part in the NEWCAST exhibition. The aim of the Supplier Department at HIPA is to connect Hungarian SMEs into the value chain of foreign-owned OEM and integrator companies and to support the progress of companies that have already been integrated. For this purpose, HIPA operates a supplier database, organises free-of-charge training courses for suppliers based on large business needs, and provides professional advice and mediation for Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in supply. The B2B events, which are jointly prepared and organised together with large companies, put potential supplier partners into focus. These personal meetings hold numerous business opportunities. Presence in foreign exhibitions opens up roads for Hungarian SMEs to improve their products and services and to extend their network.
