Deadline for investment completion extended by one year under the specific subsidy to improve competitiveness

Under the 2022 year-end amendment of KKM Decree of 7/2020. (IV.16.) on subsidy to improve competitiveness adopted in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the deadline for investment completion under the specific subsidy to improve competitiveness is extended till 31 December 2023. The one year deadline extension provides the opportunity for all those investors to comply with their obligation that were not able to finish off their projects in the year 2022 because of the armed conflict in Ukraine.
Those companies that wish to opt for the extension need to request a contract amendment by filing an official letter with HIPA (postal address: Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency; 1055 Budapest, Honvéd u. 20.)
