Fressnapf Strengthens Its Presence In Hungary By Setting Up New BSC

A business services center (BSC) to employ 150 marks the beginning of a new chapter in the 20-year history of leading European pet product retailer Fressnapf’s Hungarian presence. The investment involves a training scheme of some EUR 884,000 to enhance skills of newly recruited staff.
German-owned Fressnapf has been a household name with local pet owners for two decades now in Hungary as the Group has over 50 stores all over the country. A European market leader in pet products, the company was founded in 1990 in Germany, and it is present in 11 countries on the continent.
The Hungarian operation, Fressnapf-Hungária Kft. is now taken to the next level with the heavy involvement of HIPA, given that the company has announced to open a new business services center in Budapest. Fressnapf International Business Services is to provide a wide range of services such as Finance & Accounting, HR, payroll, procurement and Master Data Management in English, German and French languages. A call center is also planned.
The new unit will employ up to 150 mostly white collar workers who can look forward to intensive training thanks to a scheme worth EUR 884,000. An office space of 1,000 sq m is envisaged to support the operation of the Group. Launch date is scheduled for October 2022.
