Hanon Systems Implements Multiple Investments to Strengthen its Hungarian Operation

Leading Korean automotive thermal solution supplier Hanon Systems invests EUR 117 million to develop three of its sites in Hungary in Székesfehérvár, Pécs and Rétság. The projects will create 250 new jobs, whilst a large scale training program is also in the pipeline.
Hanon Systems is one the only two full-line automotive thermal solution suppliers in the world that has been operating in Hungary for over 30 years. The Korean company now implements a series of investments at its different sites in the country.
Hanon Systems Hungary Kft. plans to set up manufacturing capacities of EV thermo parts and transform its operation in Székesfehérvár by integrating digital technologies into its manufacturing and industrial processes. The Pécs plant will witness a capacity extension that is to support the company’s business in the EV segment.
On the other hand, Hanon Systems Auto Parts Hungary Kft. is increasing the capacity of its aluminium foundry in Rétság as well that serves the two other Hungarian sites.
The total value of the projects amounts to EUR 117 million, and 250 new jobs will be created as a result.
The company further envisages the launch of a comprehensive competence and skills development training program in value of EUR 132,000.
