Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade at the announcement of the investment

The 100 % Hungarian-owned automotive supplier is building its third production floor in the context of a project of EUR 20 million, this being the most important investment in its 25 years of history. Qualitative Production (QP) from Győr can satisfy orders of ever-increasing volume from major actors of international automotive industry due to its enhanced capacity. The greenfield investment implemented with the cooperation of Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) shall create 120 new jobs.

Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade

The history of QP Zrt. well exemplifies that adequate management and proper organisation and process management solutions can transform a Hungarian small enterprise into a TIER 1 supplier of international automotive industry, which, in turn, would bring about exponential growth for the company.

This investment was triggered by a new order for large-scale serial production. The whole production area together with the production floor of 6,000 sq. metres to be built in the context of the capacity enhancement development shall exceed 12,000 square-metres. QP is making automation efforts, especially in order to increase the efficiency and flexibility of its production system.

The new unit shall feature technology and manufacturing activity designed in the spirit of Industry 4.0. Engineers of QP designed highly automated production lines in cooperation with a Japanese machinery manufacturer well-known in automotive industry, while several elements and accessories of production lines were produced by the specific production area of QP.

QP is also making efforts to ensure continuous training, career development and building, as well as the development of workplace culture and the introduction of family-friendly solutions. With expanding automation and robotics, their employees may develop in the field of operating modern machinery or robot programming, which is just being simplified, as well.
