Hungarian Business Service Centres awarded in six categories at CEE Business Services Summit 2020

Hungarian business service centers have once again proved their outstanding achievements, being awarded in six categories at the Central Eastern European Business Services Summit & Awards Gala 2020 in Warsaw last night.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) was recognized as the Top Digital Services Provider, as well as the Most Vibrant Workplace in the CEE region, while ExxonMobil Hungary won first prize for the Top CSR Initiative of the Year for their exceptional community investment activities. Diageo Business Services Budapest has been selected Best University-Business Cooperation of the Year with their Bespirited case study game, UNICEF was awarded Business Services Firm of the Year in Hungary, whereas Cognizant Technology Solutions – also present in Hungary - has been voted as the Best pan-European Services Provider (BPO).

Organized for the eighth time in 2020, the Central Eastern European Business Services Summit & Awards is one of the main regional events for the BSC (business services centres) sector in Central and Eastern Europe. The CEE region is considered now a world-class service sector location, continuously expanding both with regard to the number of employees and complexity of the service activities provided. At the same time, more and more new investors discover the region’s potential.

With 120 companies, employing more than 55,000 people, the Business Services Sector has undeniably become one of the flagship industries of the Hungarian economy in recent years. Hungary’s inherent qualities, its growth potential, political stability, and highly skilled workforce contribute to the continuous development of this sector, which has now reached a high level of maturity and complexity in scope of its activities, while maintaining the ability to engage and retain talent and to continuously attract new investments – whether first comers or expansion projects - in the field of BSC and BPO markets.
