Karsai Holding Zrt., based in Székesfehérvár and encompassing nine subsidiaries, is one of the leading players in Hungary’s plastics industry. The group’s product portfolio spans from simple plastic flowerpots to thousands of items, including automotive parts and packaging solutions.
A part of the holding, Karsai Alba Ltd., brings 25 years of experience in plastic manufacturing. Known for its high-quality products, the company supplies the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and food industries with packaging solutions for creams, effervescent tablets, and other health supplements. In 2020, the company established its medical and laboratory technology division, making it the only Hungarian firm producing pipette tips for both domestic and export demands.
Today’s investment further enhances the company's medical and laboratory technology division. The nearly EUR 11 million project includes a 2,100-square-meter, automated, robot-equipped facility where new laboratory and medical technology products will be manufactured. With this division, the company aims to supply Hungarian laboratories, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and pharmaceutical companies with single-use devices.
