Kischemicals Manufacturing and Mercantile LLC of Indian interest is developing its factory unit in Sajóbábony with an investment of more than EUR 32 million. With the expansion of the factory producing plant protection products and intermediates, i.e. agrochemicals, the company can meet the growing needs of customers. The project to be completed by the end of 2023 will create 31 new jobs, while maintaining the existing headcount of 171.
The export sales of Kischemicals are primarily targeted at the EU, the United States, Turkey, the Republic of South Africa, Australia, Japan and Indonesia. Since the opening of the site, the company has expanded its manufacturing capacities several times in response to customer needs, as well as built a new production line of superactive herbicide raw materials.
As a result of the new investment, the company's turnover is expected to triple by having nearly 7,000 tonnes of extra capacity, and efficiency will increase significantly due to the automated machine lines. In the course of the development new phosgene based technologies will be introduced.
