KNAPP, the manufacturer of warehouse logistics equipment, opens a new site in Hungary - VIDEO REPORT

Knapp, the manufacturer of warehouse logistics equipment, is setting up a new site in Nemesvámos. Within the framework of a development amounting to almost EUR 16.7 million by the end of March 2023, the company will transform a brownfield site creating 250 new jobs in 2022 followed by an additional 250 by 2027.

Knapp is present in Asia, South Africa, Australia, the Americas and Europe as well. The group offers intelligent automation solutions for its customers.

Their core areas are healthcare, fashion, trade, e-commerce and omnichannel retail, including food retail. Knapp is constantly striving to renew and use the latest technologies, with some EUR 54 million invested annually in research and development.

The Austrian company group will set up a location in Nemesvámos, Veszprém County, manufacturing warehouse systems and automated material handling systems. The company will start ramping up production in 2022.
