Bayer Construct Zrt. establishes a bathroom assembly plant in value of HUF 14.7 billion in Sóskút. The development that is set to substantially enhance production efficiency is bound to speed up the construction of high quality housing. The company also entered into a strategic partnership agreement with the Government.

The Hungarian-owned Bayer Construct is one of Central Europe's leading, complex services construction and real estate development groups, covering the entire real estate development and construction value chain, including raw material production, sales and facility management.

Bayer Construct Zrt. has been a member of the group since 2015. Its latest project in value of nearly HUF 14.7 billion in Sóskút involves the construction of a new bathroom assembly plant with associated joinery and locksmith workshops, as well as a fitting and cladding plant. The investment will create 100 new jobs.

The construction of the halls with a total area of around 12,000 square meters, which host the machinery and equipment to be purchased under the project, was self-financed. The development will allow the company to significantly reduce construction time and increase production efficiency, thus creating the potential for new affordable and quality housing. The plan is to assemble 2,000 bathrooms per year, with the aim of doubling this volume.

At the announcement Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Bayer Construct Zrt. on behalf of the Hungarian Government. This brings to 95 the number of companies that have entered into such partnership with the Government.
