Subsidy to improve competitiveness: Changes in the deadline for completing the investment

The Decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade No. 7/2020. (IV. 16.) on aid measures for increasing competitiveness of undertakings concerning the COVID-19 outbreak which entered into force on 23 Dec 2021 allows the extension of the investment deadline.
It is possible to extend the investment deadline until 30 April 2022 at the latest, if the Closing Report had not been submitted to the Managing Body until the modification of the Decree entered into force.
The deadline can be changed by submitting a unilateral statement of commitment. Following the submission, the commitments contained in the statement and the related deadlines become relevant for the Beneficiary and the Donor as it is considered as a unilateral agreement modification.
Should you need to extend the investment deadline, please send the document that can be downloaded from the link below to HIPA Nonprofit Ltd (1055 Budapest, Honvéd u. 20.) by post, filled in and duly signed by 31 January 2022.
Please consider that according to the above-mentioned regulation, statements received after the above deadline cannot be taken into account.
