The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA), the Municipality of Budapest and the Real Estate Developers' Roundtable Association (IFK) jointly represent Hungary and promote real estate investments in Budapest at the popular international investment forum, the international real estate trade fair Expo Real 2016. The 120-square-metre, custom-built stand highlights the current real estate development projects that are priority government projects, and shows market operators' developments for the professional audience. A remarkable fact about the Hungarian real estate market perspectives is that in the second quarter of 2016 the Budapest office market reached a record 53% growth.

Expo Real is a unique business platform where the participants of the international real estate industry, investors, as well as all the representatives of the supply chain can find answers to their questions ranging from the development, financing or implementation, through legal consultancy services and marketing related questions to the operation and utilization of real estate. The exhibition to be held in Munich from 4 to 6 October 2016 is Europe's most important meeting place for the real estate market participants. This is where 38,000 decision-makers from 74 countries will come together: during the three-day event more than 1,700 exhibitors will debut. The central theme of the fair this year is sustainability.

Roundtable-discussion at the Budapest stand

Roundtable-discussion at the Budapest stand
On all three days of the fair, visitors will see interesting programmes at the joint Budapest stand No A2.331: project presentations about specific development projects and professional round-table discussions on investments related to upcoming international sporting events, office building developments and the Hungarian real estate market opportunities. President of HIPA and CEOs of the IFK member companies will also participate in the round-table discussions. At the end of the programme, ten weekend holidays in Budapest will be drawn among the visitors by the organisers, thus the lucky ones will be able to experience first-hand the wonderful opportunities offered by our capital.

By participating, the key objective of HIPA's Investment Project Department is to raise awareness of the present sectoral and investment professionals about the real estate development projects audited by the agency which have a powerful feasibility potential as well. The projects include, among others, a large number of office building and hotel developments, as well as luxury residential complex and large-volume airport logistics developments.

It is a priority for the Municipality of Budapest to make Budapest a target area for international real estate development and investment. The long-term urban development concept and realisation of future sporting events provide an excellent basis for introduction in the international fora and an opportunity to stimulate the interest of investors.

The Budapest stand is a powerful message for the international real estate market about the surging prospects of the real estate market in Budapest in which analysts envisage an explosive growth. The Real Estate Developers' Roundtable Association (IFK) represents Hungary's internationally renowned real estate development companies in Munich as well. Among these companies Atenor, Futureal, Horizon Development, InfoGroup, Property Market, Tópark and Wing have individual representation in the exhibition. The professional field of the real estate law is represented at the stand by the Lakatos, Köves and Partners Law Firm and Lohn Law Firm.
