Leading Crane Technology Manufacturer Opens New Plant To Serve Growing Demand

German-owned Termelés-Logistic-Centrum Kft. invested HUF 21 billion to set up a new production plant in Litér, Veszprém county, Hungary, with the purpose of revving up manufacturing of steel structural components of loading and lifting equipment. The project triggers the creation of 80 new jobs.

Established over 70 years ago, German family business Sennebogen has become known for manufacturing crane and handling technology. The company has five plants in Bavaria and one in Hungary, respectively.

The Hungarian subsidiary, Termelés-Logistic-Centrum (TLC) Kft. has been in operation since 1993, and thanks to a large-scale investment, it has inaugurated a new production hall of 29,000 sq meters in Litér. In order to produce steel structural components of loading and lifting equipment, crane and robotic technology as well as state-of-the-art painting equipment have been installed. The HUF 21 billion project that creates 80 new workplaces is meant to serve the growing demand on part of TLC’s clientele.

Being the largest investor nation in Hungary, Germany accounts for around 21% of the total FDI stock, given that in 2020 the value of FDI stock from Germany amounted to EUR 17.6 billion.
